As a speechwriter I can assist you in bringing out the depth of what you want to say, so that it touches, and is recognised, by the person you are speaking about. So that they hear the sincerity in your voice and your words. They, and many other people on the day, will remember what you said.

I assisted a friend in writing her supporting statement for a teaching post. When she left that post, twenty years later, the Headteacher quoted from her supporting statement. Words have a lasting quality.

I have attended, for approximately ten years, a weekly class called, ‘The Confident Voice’, facilitated by a gentleman who has now retired as a producer at the BBC. As most people have anxiety, if not terror, of public speaking, he emphasises that it is not public speaking, but speaking in public. There is a world of difference.

I trained, many years ago, in Foundation Hand Calligraphy. I can write your place name cards. I can write a poem or part of a speech that was presented at your wedding, which can then be framed. Or, after the wedding you can choose some words that you feel represent the essence of your day, to be written and framed.
